Molybdenum ore crushing
After blasting, the raw ore enters the heavy-duty vibrating feeder through the silo and is evenly transported to the jaw crusher for coarse crushing (primary crushing, particle size ≤100mm), followed by a multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher for medium and fine crushing (secondary crushing, particle size ≤25mm), providing ideal raw materials for subsequent grinding.

Molybdenum ore grinding
The crushed molybdenum ore particles enter the energy-saving ball mill for closed-circuit wet grinding, and are matched with a double spiral classifier to achieve particle size classification control. Substandard particles (>0.2mm) are returned to the ball mill for cyclic grinding, and qualified ore pulp (fineness -200 mesh ≥90%) enters the flotation system.

Molybdenum ore flotation
The ore pulp is fully mixed with collectors, frothers and other reagents in the high-efficiency pre-processor, and then enters the aerated mechanical stirring flotation machine for "one roughing, two sweeping and three fine" multi-stage flotation, and finally obtains a concentrate pulp with a molybdenum grade of ≥45%. The tailings are discharged in compliance with the standards after environmental protection treatment.

Dehydration of concentrate
The molybdenum concentrate slurry after flotation is efficiently concentrated by a deep cone concentrator, the bottom flow is initially dehydrated by a vertical filter press, and then deeply dried by a gas-fired rotary dryer, and finally the finished molybdenum concentrate powder (Mo≥50%) with a moisture content of ≤8% is produced, meeting international smelting standards.

Project Achievements

After the production line was put into operation, the recovery rate of molybdenum concentrate increased from 65% of the traditional process to 92%, the concentrate grade was stabilized at more than 50%, the annual processing capacity exceeded 300,000 tons, and the comprehensive energy consumption was reduced by 25%. The intelligent control system independently developed by ZOOMJO GROUP realizes full-process automated management, reduces manual intervention by 40%, and significantly reduces operating costs. The project not only drives the upgrading of local mining technology, but also creates more than 300 jobs, becoming a benchmark project for molybdenum mine development in Central Asia. Through this project, ZOOMJO GROUP has further consolidated its technological leadership in the field of global molybdenum ore dressing, and provided a successful model for the "Belt and Road" mineral resources cooperation.
