350 tons per hour lignite mobile crushing production line in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Project Background

As one of the major energy companies in Mongolia, Mr. Bater, CEO of Gobi Energy, operates several open-pit coal mines. In 2023, in order to improve the efficiency of coal supply to power plants on the Chinese border, Mr. Bater finally chose the mobile crushing solution of ZOOMJO GROUP after an international bidding.

Project Challenges:

✔ The mining area is 300 kilometers away from the border port, and the transportation cost is high
✔ The extreme low temperature in winter reaches -35℃, and the failure rate of traditional equipment is high
✔ Mongolia’s newly promulgated "Mining Environmental Protection Law" has strict requirements on dust control

Solution of ZOOMJO GROUP

Extreme cold special model:

Equipped with -40℃ low temperature start diesel engine.

Antifreeze oil is used in the hydraulic system.

Equipped with electric heating device for key components.

Integrated design:

heavy-duty mobile hammer crushing station realizes single-machine crushing.

Integrated pre-screening + impurity removal system (to handle the high impurity characteristics of lignite).

Rapid deployment:

It only takes 12 days to ship from Tianjin Port to Ulaanbaatar.

Onsite assembly and commissioning only takes 3 days (saves 2 weeks compared to European and American equipment).

Operational benefits:

Transportation cost: Save USD 8 per ton of coal (USD 2.4 million per year).

Output quality: Moisture content of finished coal < 15% (better than the 18% required by the contract).

Environmental protection: Dust emission < 25mg/m³ (Mongolian standard is 30mg/m³).
